After browsing the goodies at Tsutaya, we decided to have dinner before heading back home. Rise, a typical Japanese mall, houses the restaurants at the 7th or 8th floor. We randomly chose one and waited to be seated.
Kobe Motomachi Doria serves their food in hot bowls and plates. I didn’t know that “doria” is a thing. A little googling told me that doria is basically a gratin but with is rice based; dorias are typically topped with bolognese sauce and cheese then baked.
Chicken broccoli gratin and bacon doria set
Hamburg and bacon doria
Rice with cheese and bacon served in a hot bowl
A plate of salad with bacon shavings
The hamburg with fries and ponzu gravy. Easily the best thing in this resto. Grated radish is often used as garnish.
Omelette shaped crispy pancake topped with 4 cubes of mango. Didn’t like this at all.
Soft serve ice cream served with the pancake.
Consider this a good fast food fare 👋👋
